Pin & Sleeve Devices
Hubbell offers users a choice of two approaches to grounding
the pin & sleeve devices, both meeting the requirements
of the National Electrical Code that noncurrent
carrying metallic components be grounded. Among key features
are heavy duty cord grip that handle a wide range
of cable sizes while preventing conductor movement that
can impose strain on the terminals. In addition, anti-vibration
box terminals provide high clamping pressure on conductors
while preventing the terminations from loosening. UL
Type 4X watertight performance is assured with a watertight
cord entrance and connectors and receptacles with spring-loaded
