Summary: Responsible for HESCO’s success increasing sales and market share for the Allen-Bradley Industrial Controls and Sensor & Safety product lines. Role is combination of product planning and technical product sales and support activities. Position reports to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
This position description covers Industrial Control/Safety/Sensors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works closely with HESCO senior management to establish annual targets and sales plans for assigned product lines.
Develops and maintains knowledge of products and applications for assigned product lines. Ensures the transfer of this knowledge to HESCO’s sales and marketing personnel thereby increasing the effectiveness of the entire selling organization.
Works closely with Rockwell Automation product managers to coordinate and implement introduction and launch of new products and programs.
Works closely with HESCO’s account managers and inside sales teams to maximize sales of assigned product lines. Provides product and application training as needed in support of this effort.
Prepares and maintains availability of required sales support and marketing materials including brochures, data sheets, presentations, demonstration units, and samples.
Demonstrates products or services and provides technical assistance utilizing persuasive sales techniques and strong product and technical knowledge.
Performs as HESCO’s product and application “expert” for assigned products and maintains close working relationship with Rockwell Automation support teams for assigned product lines. Handles customer support issues as required.
Participates in required Allen-Bradley technical product training events on an annual basis. Attends industry trade shows and sales conferences.

Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical Engineering or similar discipline strongly preferred. One or more years related industry technical experience in a sales supporting role is desirable, but not required. Desire and ability to grow into an outside product specialist role is required.
